Meeker notches win over Luther

Courtney Edmonds recorded 21 points and eight rebounds Tuesday night to ignite Meeker to a 68-53 triumph over Luther.

Meeker, 2-1, never trailed after taking a 17-8 lead after one quarter.

Taylor Standlee finished with 13 points for Meeker and Morgan Palmer was credited with seven rebounds.

Meeker led 39-24 at halftime.

Ricci Maston of Meeker notched two 3-point field goals and finished with eight points.

The Lady Bulldogs will collide with Bethel at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in opening-round play of the Oklahoma Baptist Tournament.

Meeker’s boys will meet Ada at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the OBU Tournament.
