  • Earlsboro jumped out to an early 10-point advantage and kept Sasakwa at arm’s length the rest of the way, holding off the Vikings for a 48-40 win Friday in Little River Conference Tournament action. Ethan Bateman led all scorers with 18, while his fellow Wildcats Austin Sanders and Connor Kelsay added 14 and 12 points, respectively. Kenan Lawrence led the Vikings with 14. Forrest Henry chipped in nine. Earlsboro will play in the consolation final at 1:15 p.m. Saturday against the winner of Mason and New Lima. Note: Report compiled by Chuck Porter.
