  • McLoud can’t slow top-ranked Lady Demons

  • Class 3A’s top-ranked Perkins-Tryon jumped out to a 22-8 advantage after eight minutes and kept McLoud at bay the rest of the game, coasting to a 48-36 victory Tuesday night.

  • Class 3A’s top-ranked Perkins-Tryon jumped out to a 22-8 advantage after eight minutes and kept McLoud at bay the rest of the game, coasting to a 48-36 victory Tuesday night.
     
    Erin Estep led McLoud with 15 points, which fell to 2-5 on the season with the loss.
     
    The Lady Demons’ Jordan Gorham led all scorers with 23, and McKenzie Stanford chipped in 13.
     
    The Lady Redskins and Lady Demons both played in the Bison Invitational over the weekend, with Perkins-Tryon taking the tourney crown while McLoud claimed fourth place.
     
    McLoud will continue its homestand Friday when it will challenge Byng on homecoming night.
