  • Propelled by a 20-point outing by Kevin Schilling, Meeker upended Holdenville 62-45 Tuesday night.
     
    Schilling posted three of his four 3-point field goals in the first quarter as Meeker jumped out to a 17-12 advantage. Levi Keel added 12 points in the game for Meeker and teammate Austin Watlington chipped in with 10.
     
    Meeker, 2-5, never trailed in the game. The Bulldogs were deadlocked at 26 at the intermission. Meeker went on a 21-7 run in the third quarter.
     
    Meeker canned 8-of-14 charity tosses while Holdenville was 6-of-9.
     
    Ryan Hickerson led winless Holdenville with 17 points.
     
    Meeker’s girls prevailed 56-46 in the opener after leading 11-6 after one quarter and 21-18 at the intermission.
     
    Leading scorer Cortney Edmonds, who finished with 24 points for Meeker, recorded three of her four treys in the third quarter.
     
    Morgan Palmer of Meeker collected 12 points and Taylor Standlee finished with eight.
     
    Meeker, 5-2, will host Chandler Friday night.
