  • Asher’s Lady Indians held Bowlegs scoreless in the second quarter Friday, then unloaded 20 points in the third en route to claiming a 56-20 win.
     
    Shelby Fleming netted a game-high 22 points for the Lady Indians, who improve to 7-4.
     
    Asher led 21-4 at halftime, and 41-14 after three quarters.
     
    Destinie Haws led Bowlegs with a dozen points.
     
    In the second game of the double-header, Zach Fowler scored 26 points, Sean Fleming notched 16 and Class B’s seventh-ranked Indians ran away from Bowlegs in the second half to nab an 85-38 win.
     
    Asher held just a 13-point halftime lead over the winless Bison, but ripped off a 34-point tidal wave in the third quarter to put the game completely out of reach.
     
    Fowler scored 18 of his 26 in the decisive third quarter, nailing five treys.
     
    Hunter Fowler added 14 for Asher, which moved to 9-2 on the season. Dalton Hockley rounded out the double-figure scoring, with 10.
     
    Asher will go to Calvin Tueday.
