A late 3-point field goal forced Friday’s game into an extra session, but Prague’s Lady Red Devils outscored McLoud 10-1 in overtime to win 41-32 and improve to 8-1 on the season.
The low-scoring affair featured no players in double figures as Prague’s Ellie Schultz led everyone with nine points. Teammates Corbin Coker and Landrea Hixson added eight apiece, as did McLoud’s Erin Estep and Jordan Murphy.
“It was the first game back and everyone was rusty,” said Prague coach Jay Depanion.
The Lady Red Devils are ranked seventh in Class 3A.
Prague trailed 11-9 after one quarter, and 19-15 at the half. The Lady Devils went up 22-21 to start the fourth.
Prague will go the Beggs Tournament beginning Tuesday. The girls will play at 4:30 p.m., and the boys will follow.
McLoud will host Bethel Tuesday.
