When Ada travels to Tecumseh Tuesday, they’ll be looking to avoid three consecutive losses to Class 4A’s seventh-ranked Savages.

Tecumseh, on the other hand, will be looking to avoid its first loss of the season.

The Savages (9-0) knocked off the Cougars twice in seven days in December, claiming a come-from-behind 64-59 win Dec. 8 in the Bison Invitational title game at OBU and a 63-45 decision Dec. 14 at Ada.

The boys will tip off at 8 p.m. The Lady Savages and 4A’s No. 17 Lady Cougars will start the early game at 6:30.

Shawnee will be on the road at El Reno Tuesday for a Suburban Conference matchup, with class 5A’s top-ranked Lady Wolves (8-1) leading off at 6:30 against the No. 18 Lady Indians.

The Wolves, meanwhile, will look to start their first win streak of the season against the No. 11 Indians. That tip is at 8 p.m. The Wolves last played Dec. 21, when they knocked off Guthrie to move to 2-7.

Bethel’s girls and boys will head up Highway 102 to take on McLoud tonight at 6:30 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, respectively.

Bethel High School will be the site of the CD Warehouse Classic Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

In other area games Tuesday night, Meeker heads south to tangle with Seminole, Macomb travels to Wanette, Maud hosts Strother and Asher journeys to Varnum.

Dale will host Wellston Tuesday night as well, but the boys junior varsity will play instead of the varsity, which was selected to play in the Tournament of Champions Dec. 27, 28 and 29.
