  • Prague girls fall in overtime

  • Prague’s Lady Red Devils, ranked seventh in Class 3A, fell to 9-3 on the year with a 59-51 overtime loss to Berryhill in Saturday’s third-place contest of the Beggs Tournament.

  • Prague’s Lady Red Devils, ranked seventh in Class 3A, fell to 9-3 on the year with a 59-51 overtime loss to Berryhill in Saturday’s third-place contest of the Beggs Tournament.
     
    Prague trailed 16-10 after the first quarter, and 30-23 at the break. The Lady Red Devils knotted the score at 38 to start the fourth, and the game was tied at 49 at the end of regulation.
     
    Prague was out-scored 10-2 in the extra stanza.
     
    Prague’s Corbin Coker led all scorers with 28 points. Lindsey Fridrich and Ellie Schultz added seven each.
    Ashley Williams paced Berryhill with 20.
     
    Prague will host McLoud Tuesday.
