A pair from Norman is named Boomer Bridge winners for this past week.
Don Davis and Janet Davis, both of Norman, placed first as Boomer Bridge played for the second week in its new location at First Christian Church, 1625 N. Broadway.
Peter Huggler of Seminole and Jack Dimski of Oklahoma City placed second with Sherman Layman of Okemah and Carmon Dent of Midwest City placing third. Fourth place winners were Charles Clonce of Tecumseh and Kathy Riddle.
Boomer Bridge, Shawnee’s sanctioned open duplicate bridge club, meets on Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. Players from Shawnee and surrounding cities participate. All bridge players, regardless of experience or level of skill, are welcome.
