Earlsboro’s Lady Wildcats bombed Strother, 75-12, Saturday night in preparation for an appearance at the Tri-County High School Tournament at the Noble Complex on the OBU campus this week.
“We are playing pretty good,” Earlsboro head coach Gary Anderson said. “We’re looking forward to playing in the tournament. We struggled against [first round opponent Macomb] earlier in the year, but we’ve improved and we expect to have a strong showing this time.”
The tournament features several ranked area teams, including Class 2A’s No. 2 Dale and Class A’s No. 18 Davenport. Earlsboro (17-2) is ranked ninth in Class B.
Megan Ashley led the way for Earlsboro with 27 points and Monica Griffiths chipped in 20. Courtney Jones’ 11 rounded out the Lady Wildcats’ double-figure scoring, while sisters Brittany and Demi Coon combined for 17.
