  • OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities say a 15-year-old student was arrested after she allegedly attacked a faculty member at an Oklahoma City school.

Police say the incident happened Wednesday at Seeworth Academy. Oklahoma City television station KWTV reports (http://is.gd/XM20Jv ) that the student allegedly attacked the assistant vice principal at the school.

According to police, the altercation occurred after the vice principal asked her to put away her cell phone. A police report says the student kicked the vice principal, then fought with a security guard who attempted to restrain her.

The girl was arrested on complaints of assault and battery. Her name wasn't released because of her age.
