  • Lady Pirates advance to tourney finals

  • Dale got a game-high 29 points from senior Breck Clark, and Class 2A’s second-ranked Lady Pirates throttled Davenport 61-21 in the semifinals of the Tri-County Tournament Thursday at Oklahoma Baptist University’s Noble Complex.

  • Dale got a game-high 29 points from senior Breck Clark, and Class 2A’s second-ranked Lady Pirates throttled Davenport 61-21 in the semifinals of the Tri-County Tournament Thursday at Oklahoma Baptist University’s Noble Complex.
     
    Clark was a deadly 12-for-14 from the charity stripe, and she added four rebounds, three steals, a pair of assists and two blocks to her statistics for the night.
     
    Jaelin Flewallen contributed 10 points to Dale’s cause, as well as four rebounds and two assist. Danielle Dockrey led the team in boards with six, and Raegan Holt recorded two assists and three steals.
     
    Senior Lexes Satterwhite notched three assists.
    The Lady Pirates held a 13-5 lead after one quarter, which grew to a 28-10 advantage by intermission. Dale erupted for 20 third-quarter points and led 48-17 to start the fourth.
     
    Sabrina McDow led Davenport with 14 points, hitting three 3-point field goals and three of six free throws.
     
    Dale will meet Earlsboro — a 48-35 winner over Wellston Thursday — in the 7:30 p.m. championship game Saturday.
    Davenport and Wellston will vie for third-place honors at 5 p.m. Saturday.
