  • Three suspects were arrested Monday on kidnapping and burglary charges after police responded to a disturbance involving a firearm.
A police report shows officers were dispatched to the disturbance at 222 S. Oklahoma, where a foot pursuit ensued of multiple suspects as police worked that scene, where they also confiscated weapons.
The incident resulted in three persons being arrested on multiple felony charges, including kidnapping, burglary and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony.
Arrested, according to the report, were Joseph Tiblow George, 39, Victor Harjo Jr., 20, and Michael Daryl Greenwood, 18. Formal charges have not been filed, but all three remained jailed in the Pottawatomie County Safety Center Monday night.
According to the police report, a 40-year-old victim from the residence told officers that George and other suspects entered his room and pistol-whipped him before suspects forced him outside. He told officers the group was allegedly attempting to force him into a van when the first police officer arrived at the scene, the report shows.
The foot pursuit and search of the area ended with those in custody. The victim in the case was treated for minor injuries in the emergency room at Saint Anthony Shawnee Hospital, and then released.
    Watch for updates.
