  • Bethel held Konawa to seven first-half points and the Lady Wildcats held off the Lady Tigers in the second half to take a 40-29 win Tuesday night.
     
    Bethel (12-7) took a 17-7 lead into the break, but the Lady Tigers cut the 10-point lead in half heading into the fourth quarter.
     
    A 14-8 spurt allowed Bethel to pull away for good.
     
    Meghan Tade and Mikayla Whitten led the visitors with nine points apiece, while Konawa’s Haley Terry led all scorers with a dozen.
     
    Bethel’s Bry Flanagan chipped in five points.
     
    Bethel will challenge Dale Friday night for homecoming.
