Asher's boys and girls swept Strother Tuesday night.

A host of Lady Indians, led by Tristan Milburn and Shelby Fleming, got in on the scoring onslaught Tuesday night as Asher dismantled Strother 66-34.

Milburn put up a game-high 23 points and Fleming pitched in 18 for Asher (16-7), which led 37-14 at the break and 56-21 after three quarters.

Lindsey Garcia scored 20 points for the visitors.

Sarah Wauahdooah notched six, Shayla Dekuyper added four and Alicia Huggins scored three for Asher, which had 11 players contribute in the scoring column.

Asher’s boys completed the sweep with a 67-64 win over Strother as Zach Fowler was the scoring leader with 26 points.

Asher, 18-5 and ranked eighth in Class B, also received five 3-point field goals and 18 points from Tim Johnson. Four of Johnson’s treys came in the second quarter as Asher outscored Strother 21-18 for a 32-28 halftime edge.

Dalton Hockley of Asher tallied 12 points.

Both teams struggled from the charity stripe as Asher was 11-of-30 and Strother was 11-of-20.

Asher will host Roff Friday.
