Chandler’s boys launched a busy four-day stretch Friday night with a 45-36 victory over Perkins-Tryon.
Cody Campbell of Chandler netted 14 points and teammate Josiah Brown finished with nine.
Perkins led just once at 3-2. Chandler was up 9-4 after one quarter and 18-9 at the half. The Demons pulled within two points at one fourth-quarter juncture.
Chandler’s Mason Myers converted four of six free throws in the fourth quarter, owned by the Lions 17-13.
“That was the best game we’ve played this year in all phases,” Chandler coach Eddie Battershell said. “We took care of the ball.”
Chandler was 14-of-23 in the free throw department.
Perkins-Tryon defeated Chandler by seven points earlier in the season.
Chandler will entertain Kingfisher tonight, then travel to Jones Monday and Wellston Tuesday.
