  • Josiah Brown scored 17 points, Rodney Lewis added a dozen and Chandler won its fourth game in five days with a 55-33 win at Wellston Tuesday.
     
    Chandler pushed a one-point first-quarter lead to 16 at halftime thanks to a 15-0 run in the second quarter.
     
    “We played very good defense in the second quarter,” Chandler head coach Eddie Battershell said.
     
    Hunter Hudson added seven points for Chandler, which saw its record improve from 4-11 last Friday to 8-11 Tuesday night.
     
    The Lions’ run included home wins over Perkins-Tryon and Kingfisher and road victories at Jones and Wellston.
     
    Chandler will travel to Holdenville Friday for the Wolverines’ homecoming. The Lions and Lady Lions will switch tip times, with the boys tipping the early game at 6:30 p.m.
