The Wolves will open at noon Saturday against fifth-ranked Duncan. The winner between Shawnee and Duncan will go on to face the winner between No. 2 Lawton MacArthur and No. 12 Grove at 2 p.m.

The championship dual will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Other teams in the field include top-ranked Collinsville, No. 6 Deer Creek, No. 4 Altus and No. 8 Coweta.

“It should be a good match,” SHS coach Larry James said of the encounter with Duncan. “We are both about even. I just hope our kids keep rising to the occasion like they have all year long.”
