  • Two suspects, including a man who is reported to be a pastor from Shawnee, remained in federal custody Wednesday as part of a child pornography investigation.
The FBI arrested Jerry Duane Barham, 66, of Shawnee, and Melissa Renee Loman, 33, of Shawnee, in connection with that child pornography investigation, Special Agent Rick Rains confirmed.
An official website for Grace Fellowship New Testament Church in Shawnee listed Jerry Barham as its pastor Wednesday. That website was taken offline late Wednesday afternoon and was no longer available for viewing. The church is located at 1108 N. Kickapoo.
Bob Troester, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Oklahoma City, said Wednesday that both Barham and Loman face federal counts involving possession and production of child pornography.
“The specifics remain under seal,” Troester said about the case. According to the FBI, a federal judge sealed affidavits involving their arrests.
Troester said Barham is detained in federal custody and Loman is also being detained at a facility in Oklahoma City.
Troester said he anticipates more information about this case being available in the next couple weeks.
