Justin Morris canned three treys in the fourth quarter to help Stroud pull away from Chandler 58-48 Saturday night, negating big nights from Lion seniors Cody Campbell and Josiah Brown.
Campbell (20 points) and Brown (17) were playing in their final game on their home court for Chandler, which trailed 34-33 heading into the fourth quarter.
Morris led Stroud’s 3-point barrage in the last eight minutes, which saw the Tigers score four times from beyond the arc and outscore the Lions 24-15.
“Those guys are just very good athletes,” CHS head coach Eddie Battershell said.
Stroud got 12 points from Morris, 11 from Tillar Bucktrot and 10 apiece from Gregg Hyde and Ryan McElvaney.
Hunter Hudson and Levi Wilson chipped in five points each for Chandler.
After the Lions strung together four wins in five days to improve to 8-11 Tuesday, a 54-51 setback at Holdenville Friday night and Saturday’s loss move Chandler to 8-13.
The Lions will close out their regular season Tuesday against McLoud.
