  • Shawnee High School’s Micaela Yu and Prague High School’s Corbin Coker are among the more than 70 Oklahoma athletes nominated for the McDonald’s All-American High School Basketball Games.
     
    They are among the more than 800 athletes nationally who have been nominated to play in the 2013 games.
     
    Yu and Coker, along with other nominees, will be honored at a breakfast Feb. 27 at McDonald’s in Bricktown.
     
    The games will be held Wednesday, April 3, at the United Center in Chicago, Ill. The 12th annual girls’ game will tip off at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPNU, and the 36th annual boys’ game will tip off at 8:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN.

    Proceeds from the games go to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), and the games have generated more than $10 million since their inception in 1978.
