  • Chandler’s Lions missed two shots in the waning seconds Friday night and dropped a 38-37 decision to Henryetta in a Class 3A district tournament game.

  • Chandler’s Lions missed two shots in the waning seconds Friday night and dropped a 38-37 decision to Henryetta in a Class 3A district tournament game.
     
    Chandler (9-14) led 32-26 entering the final quarter but was out-scored 12-5 over the final eight minutes.
     
    Cody Campbell led Chandler with 17 points and Josiah Brown added nine.
     
    Chandler will enter regional tournament play at 3 p.m. Thursday in Okmulgee. The Lions will take on Saturday night’s district tournament winner between Okmulgee and Lincoln Christian.
     
    Chandler’s girls dropped a 93-49 loss to Henryetta Friday night and will also enter regional play in the losers bracket.
