The Prague Lady Devils bounced back from a two-point first quarter to throttle Stroud’s Lady Tigers 43-29 in a Class 3A winners’ bracket first round game Thursday.

The Prague Lady Devils bounced back from a two-point first quarter to throttle Stroud’s Lady Tigers 43-29 in a Class 3A winners’ bracket first round game Thursday.

Prague’s Corbin Coker notched a team-high 13 points while teammate Whitney Stotler added 10. Tori Bristow and Landrea Hixson pitched in seven apiece for the 13th-ranked Lady Devils.

Prague (18-7) built a 13-11 halftime advantage and went for 19 points in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

The win guarantees Prague a spot in next weekend’s area tournament at Purcell, as well as a spot in Saturday’s regional title game at Washington against the winner of Thursday’s game against Washington and Plainview.

The regional title game will top off at 6:30 p.m.
