  • Despite a game-high 28 points from Kevin Schilling, Meeker’s Bulldogs dropped a 72-60 decision at Lindsey in the losers’ bracket of a Class 3A regional tournament Thursday.
     
    Meeker held a 32-31 advantage at halftime, but Lindsay rode a 22-8 third-quarter spurt to take the lead for good.
     
    The loss ends Meeker’s season at 7-17.
     
    Schilling, a sophomore, knocked down two treys and 10 of his 11 free throw attempts.
     
    Meeker’s Seth Jones and Kevin Barnett each added eight points. Jones and Barnett, both seniors, concluded their careers as Bulldogs.
     
    Hunter Mason led Lindsey with 18 points, while Andrew Cummins added 16. Rex Sutherland chipped in with 14.
     
    Meeker’s Bobby Marshall, Levi Keel and Austin Watlington all scored six points.
