OHP warns motorists

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is asking motorists in the Troop I area to stay off all roadways in the affected counties. Due to extreme winter weather,

all roads in the Troop I location have been closed.

Troop I is headquartered in Guymon and covers the following counties:

Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, Ellis, Woodward and Harper.

OHP troopers are working with Oklahoma Department of Transportation officials to warn motorists of the dangers associated with attempted travel during this snow event.
