The Shawnee Contract Review Committee met Tuesday to discuss contracts the city of Shawnee has with various entities.
The five entities included the Senior Citizens Center, the Central Oklahoma Community Action Agency, the Shawnee Economic Development Foundation, the Shawnee Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Shawnee YMCA.
The committee asked the COCAA to return to the next meeting with their most recent audit, Committee Member James Harrod said. The agency had not yet received that audit, and had included all other information.
Once that information is received, another meeting will be scheduled and the committee may take action regarding recommendations to give to the Shawnee City Commission, Harrod said.
No action was taken at Tuesday’s meeting.
Once the committee makes a recommendation, it is up to the Shawnee City Commission to actually approve any contract.
