No. 1 singles entrant Luke Laster went 2-2 on the day, picking up wins over Harrah’s Ivo Carranza (6-2, 6-0) and Chickasha’s Noel Abila (6-1, 6-2).

At No. 2 singles, Zach Fisher also went 2-2. He defeated Ada’s Tanner Sheffield in three sets (5-7, 7-5, 10-1) and Guthrie’s Jacob Ventris (6-3, 6-0).

Collin Boland and Bryce Dowhower, at No. 1 doubles, recorded victories over a Harrah duo (6-1, 6-2) and a Choctaw duo (6-2, 7-5).

At No. 2 doubles, Montana Sellers and Chase Wood went 1-3 with a win over Ardmore (5-7, 6-4, 10-2).

Shawnee’s Lady Wolves will open their season today at the Carl Albert Tournament, and both teams will travel to Ardmore Tuesday.
