  • Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament host Oklahoma Baptist made a first-round exit, falling to Oklahoma City, 64-60 on Thursday.
     
    The Stars were out-shot from the field and the arc but collected 15 offensive rebounds and scored 18 points off 15 OBU turnovers.
     
    OCU had five players score in double figures, led by Charlton Jones with 13 points. Terry Johnson added 11 and Kaleb Smith, Terrence Walker and Troynell Adams had 10 points apiece.
     
    OBU got 18 points from Chase Adams and 14 from Kameron Price.
     
    OBU drops to 24-7 and can expect an at-large bid to the NAIA Tournament.
     
    The Stars (15-10) kept their NAIA Tournament hopes alive going into an 8 p.m. semifinal game Friday.
