  • Prague girls suffer season-ending loss

  • A second-quarter spurt was the catalyst in Prague’s season coming to an end Thursday night. The Lady Red Devils were tied 9-all with Kingfisher after the first quarter, but fell behind 30-26 by halftime en route to suffering a 65-47 setback in a Class 3A area tournament losers’ bracket contest. Kingfisher led 48-34 after three quarters.

    The Lady Red Devils were tied 9-all with Kingfisher after the first quarter, but fell behind 30-26 by halftime en route to suffering a 65-47 setback in a Class 3A area tournament losers’ bracket contest. Kingfisher led 48-34 after three quarters.
     
    Tori Bristow led the Lady Devils with 12 points, and teammates Corbin Coker and Whitney Stotler provided 11 and 10, respectively.
     
    Prague was ranked 13th to end the regular season.
     
    The Lady Red Devils were Class 3A’s defending state runners-up.
     
    Ending their careers at Prague were seniors Stotler, Coker and Kristyn McLaughlin.
