Tecumseh moved to 2-0 on the season Tuesday with their second run-rule win in as many games, 17-7 over Konawa’s Lady Tigers.

Tecumseh moved to 2-0 on the season Tuesday with their second run-rule win in as many games, 17-7 over Konawa’s Lady Tigers.

The game was stopped after five innings.

Tecumseh led 5-0 after one inning, and 10-5 after two. Konawa scored its final two runs in the bottom of the fourth to trail 12-2, and the Lady Savages added their final five in the top of the fifth.

Tecumseh collected 22 hits to Konawa’s five, including a home run by Caylie Patton. Aspen Grimes went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, five runs batted in and three runs scored.

Hilary Babbit, Logan Hays, Jordan Detherage and Shyanna Sigman got three hits apiece, each with a double, and Kelsie Carston finished with two singles and three runs scored.

Babbit and Detherage combined for four RBIs.

Tecumseh will travel to Seminole Thursday for a 4 p.m. varsity/junior varsity doubleheader.
