Garret Fitzgerald earned a pitching victory Thursday as Bethel’s Wildcats blanked Del City 8-0.

The game was stopped after five innings on the eight-run rule.

Fitzgerald, who worked four innings, allowed two hits. He walked one batter, fanned three and plunked one.

Kieser Hladik led Bethel’s seven-hit attack with a single and a run-scoring double. Teammate Hunter Heath added an RBI triple.

Reliever Marcus Washburn worked the fifth inning.

Bethel (3-0) will play two games Saturday at Bethel. The Wildcats will take on Stroud at noon and Wynnewood at 6 p.m.
