  • Tecumseh improved to 4-0 on the season Thursday by recording a pair of shutout wins — 8-0 over Seminole and 11-0 over Wetumka.

  • Tecumseh improved to 4-0 on the season Thursday by recording a pair of shutout wins — 8-0 over Seminole and 11-0 over Wetumka.
     
    Shyanna Sigman notched a single, a double and a triple as the Lady Savages rang up a dozen hits against Seminole. Sigman scored twice and drove in two runs.
     
    Caylie Patton and Hilary Babbit notched two hits apiece. Patton scored twice and Babbit picked up two RBIs, and Jordan Detherage pushed home three runs on two sacrifice flies.
     
    The game was stopped after five innings on the run rule, and the second game was halted after three innings.
     
    Patton went 3-for-3 with two singles and an inside-the-park home run, and Detherage went 2-for-3 with a single, a double and two RBIs.
     
    Kelsie Carston went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs, and Jessica Cummings went 2-for-2 with a run scored. Aspen Grimes clubbed a two-run double as the Lady Savages garnered 13 hits.
     
    Tecumseh will host Holdenville for a 4:30 p.m. varsity/junior varsity doubleheader today.
