Thursday, March 14, people in Southern Oklahoma will have an opportunity to dispose of unwanted E-Waste and privacy papers they no longer need. Citizens Bank and Trust and the Ardmore Beautification Council, longtime partners on recycling efforts, will sponsor this E-Waste and Privacy Shred Day, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., at Citizens Bank, 1100 N. Commerce in Ardmore.
If it plugs in, United Electronic Recycling, LLC will be on hand to assist with removing the electronics from your vehicle. Data destruction such as wiping hard drives clean is a free service that will be provided when asked. Fees of $10.00 per TV will be charged. File Thirteen will have volunteers to remove boxes from vehicles and you will be able to see the paper being shredded on site in the truck parked nearby. It is requested only 3 boxes of paper per family be brought.
Citizens Bank and ABC offer paper shredding and E-Waste in March and November each year for Southern Oklahomans. You do not have to live in Ardmore to take advantage of this recycling opportunity!
