An investigation is ongoing into a double homicide after a married couple was found dead at their home in Okfuskee County.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Denver Holloway, 54, and his wife, Martha Holloway, 53, were found dead Monday at their home near Boley.

Authorities said wounds on the couple's bodies indicate the two are victims of a homicide, but the OSBI has not disclosed how the two may have died.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will perform autopsies to determine the cause and manner of their deaths.

Sources have said the couple had ties to those in the Shawnee and Pottawatomie County area. In the past, Denver Holloway reportedly worked at several farms in this area.

OSBI Spokeswoman Jessica Brown, who said Monday that the Okfuskee County Sheriff’s Office asked for OSBI to assist in this case, said it was too early in the investigation for much information to be released.

“We have some good leads,” Brown said, adding there haven’t been any arrests made in the case.

If anyone has information about this case, please call the OSBI hotline at 1-800-522-8017.
