Earlsboro split a pair of Little River Conference games with Macomb Tuesday, dropping the opener 13-5 before winning the nightcap 4-2.

Both teams picked up seven hits in the first game, which was stopped after four innings.

Earlsboro led 1-0 after one inning the second game, and trailed 2-1 after three. A third-inning injury put the Wildcats a man short, but they managed to score three times in the bottom of the fourth to secure the win.

Pitcher Derick McCormick recorded eight strikeouts in improving to 2-1.

Earlsboro is 2-4 overall and 1-3 in LRC play. The Wildcats fell to Paden (13-1) and Moss (23-0) Monday.

Earlsboro will host a 4 p.m. doubleheader with Paden Thursday.
