  • Hunter Heath raised his pitching record to 2-0 Tuesday as Bethel upended Ada 4-1.

Heath, who went the distance, permitted just three hits while fanning seven and walking three. Ada’s sole run, in the bottom of the fifth inning, was unearned.

Bethel tallied all four runs in the top of the fourth on singles by Garret Fitzgerald, Clint Simmons and Matt Watson — along with a walk, an error and an RBI groundout.

Bethel, 5-1, will travel to Tuttle Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. varsity/junior varsity doubleheader. The Wildcats will entertain Prague Friday, then be idle until Thursday, March 21 because of spring break.
