Lady Pirates blitz Stroud

Behind a 21-hit attack, Dale blitzed Stroud 21-3 in a five-inning game Thursday.

Dale closed out the contest with a 12-run fifth.

The Lady Pirates received four singles from Kassidy Sparks and a double and two singles from Danielle Dockrey.

Freshman Ryanne Griggs blasted the first home run of her career with a 3-run shot in the fifth.

Jaelin Flewallen added a double and Kortlyn Wilkey accumulated three singles.

Dale, 2-1, will play three games today at the Okemah Festival. The Lady Pirates will engage Muskogee at 1 p.m., Tushka at 4:30 p.m. and Leedey at 5:40 p.m.

Dale will be idle Saturday.
