Derick McCormick earned a pitching win and smacked a two-run home run Thursday as Earlsboro nipped Paden 9-8 in the opening game of a doubleheader.
McCormick fanned nine batters and walked five in a six-inning appearance in the opener.
In the five-inning nightcap, Paden led just 3-2 when it posted five runs in the top of the fourth inning and went on to record an 8-2 win.
Earlsboro was limited to six singles and committed four errors.
Earlsboro (3-5) will be off during spring break and resume its schedule Monday, March 25.
