Tulsa police investigate after discovery of body

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police are investigating after a badly decomposed body was discovered inside a west Tulsa home.

Police say a landlord went to the home on West Fifth Street on Thursday because the tenant had not been seen for several days and rent was due. Authorities say the landlord went into the home, found blood inside, and called police.

The tenant had been reported missing March 6.

Police say they're treating the case as a possible homicide, but they're still awaiting a cause of death and identification of the victim.
