Class 4A’s No. 18 Tecumseh wrapped up its stay at the Preston Festival Saturday with a 7-0 blanking of 2A’s No. 20 Morris.

The Savages led 1-0 after the first inning, and 5-0 after two. They scored twice in the top of the fifth and the game was stopped after five frames.

Gage Trahan (1-0) carried a no-hitter into the bottom of the fifth before surrendering a two-out single. He struck out seven, walked two and plunked one batsmen in the complete-game effort.

Trahan and Rylan Pierce each went 2-for-3 at the plate, and Colton Owen went 2-for-2 with a double.

Now 5-2, Tecumseh will face Lexington at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Little Axe Tournament.
