Pottawatomie County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 17-year-old runaway who left home with his parents’ medications, firearms and about 1,000 rounds of ammunition.
Undersheriff Travis Palmer said the teen left his home in the 32000 block of Waco Road in a red, 1991 Ford Ranger pickup. The truck has a Browning sticker on the back with a deer head and ribbons through the horns. The tag is 680-HSQ, Palmer said.
The teen, whose name isn’t being released, has been entered in a national database as a runaway, Palmer said, along with the pickup.
Palmer said they are concerned since he took medications, weapons and all the ammo.
Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities.
