The University of Central Oklahoma schedules Easter Egg hunt and carnival.
The University of Central Oklahoma will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt and Carnival from 1 to 3 p.m. March 30, on Hamilton Field, located on Ayers Street between Chowning Avenue and University Drive on Central’s campus.
Hosted by the Central chapter of political science honor society Pi Sigma Alpha and the UCO Student Association, all activities are free and open to the public, including egg hunts for children, carnival booths, games and a raffle.
The event includes five different egg hunts for children, grouped by ages 3 and under, ages 4 to 5, ages 6 to 7, ages 8 to 9, and ages 10 and older. In addition to egg hunts, families can visit 17 booths featuring pin the tail on the bunny, a lollipop tree, miniature golf, face painting, bowling, soccer, and more.
Games for all ages with free raffle prizes, food and drinks will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring an Easter basket for prizes and a camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny.
“Our volunteers have been stuffing eggs for weeks getting ready for this years egg hunt. It all becomes completely worth it when we see the kids’ faces,” said Calvin Bell, one of the Pi Sigma Alpha members.
Participants may park for free in the lot next to Wantland Football Stadium.
