  • Tecumseh, ranked eighth in Class 6A, was held to just three hits Friday in suffering a 9-0 setback to Purcell in the Bethel Tournament.
     
    Purcell is ranked first in Class 5A.
     
    Shyanna Sigman, Hilary Babbit and Macy Muirhead got a single apiece for Tecumseh’s only hits. The Lady Savages were the victims of 13 fly outs and three lineouts.
     
    “We hit the ball hard, it was just right at someone,” said Tecumseh coach Perry Wilson.
     
    Tecumseh is 13-4 on the season and will visit Class 4A’s second-ranked Dale at 4 p.m. Monday.
