Bethel went 1-1 in a three-way contest Monday, topping Konawa 12-2 before falling to host Byng, 15-12.
The Lady Wildcats rang up a dozen hits against Konawa, including doubles from Tayler Short, Cati Caro and Cherokee Moore. Caro’s two-bagger drove in a pair of runs, and Moore’s brought home one.
Bethel suffered from three errors versus Byng, and two of those helped the Lady Pirates take a 10-1 lead in the bottom of the second inning. Bethel scored the next 11 runs of the game and led 12-10 going into the bottom of the sixth, but the hosts tacked on five more in their share of the frame to effect the final margin.
Of Bethel’s 18 hits, Rachel Wade notched two singles and a two-run triple. Moore and Shelby Miller each went 3-for-4 — Moore with two runs batted in — and Tariah Brooking, Ashley Elmore and Bayli Miller were each 2-for-4.

Now 3-5 on the season, Bethel hosts Davenport and Okemah beginning at 4:30 p.m. today.
