  • Macomb needed just eight total innings to pick up two wins Monday and even its record to 11-11.
     
    The Hornets hammered New Lima, 11-1, before dropping host Earlsboro 8-0. Both games were stopped after four innings on the run rule.
     
    Macomb garnered 16 hits through both games, including two triples and a double by Dalton French opposite New Lima.
     
    Steven Moore clubbed a triple as well, and French went on to offer up a single and a double against Earlsboro. Troy Wilson hit two singles and a triple against the Wildcats, and Thomas Cope finished the day with two singles and a double.
     
    Justin Moore picked up his first pitching win of the season against New Lima. He struck out five and walked one in moving to 1-5.
     
    French (2-1) was the victorious hurler against Earlsboro. he struck out eight while throwing a one-hitter.
     
    Macomb is scheduled to go to Mason at 4 p.m. Thursday.
