Class 4A’s 13th-ranked Tecumseh Savages moved to 12-4 on the season Monday with a 9-1 win over McLoud.

The game was stopped on the run rule after the Savages put up two runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Gage Trahan (3-1) earned the pitching win in relief. He struck out three and walked one.

Rylan Pierce spearheaded Tecumseh’s 12-hit offense at 3-for-4. He smacked a pair of doubles and drove in one run.

Jordan Colvin hit a double and a single, and Trahan, Micah Sanchez and Connor Patton notched two singles apiece. Patton drove in four runs.

The Savages are scheduled to go to McLoud at 5 p.m. today, weather permitting.
