  • First Christian Church slates Bible study

  • Virginia Brendle will lead a Bible study at First Christian Church.

  • First Christian Church will be hosting a Bible study led by Virginia Brendle.
     
    The study will begin Wednesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. and is expected to continue through April and May. The church is located at 1625 N. Broadway (the Pumpkin Patch church.) Use the entrance from the east parking lot.
     
    Brendle attended the University of Arkansas and finished her degree at OBU. She is an ordained chaplain. She spends a great deal of her time in volunteer prison ministry. At the present time she conducts a women’s ministry at Mabel Bassett Correctional Center for Women and the Pottawatomie County Public Safety Center in Shawnee.
     
    During the Bible study, Brendle is going to walk participants through a study of the Beatitudes with an emphasis on direct study of His word and its meaning as it pertains to each of us.
     
    Anyone interested in Bible study is invited to attend.
