  • OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Noted bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman and his wife, Beth, are being honored by Oklahoma legislators.

The stars of the reality television show "Dog the Bounty Hunter" visited the state Capitol on Tuesday and were introduced in the House and Senate.

The pair travels to various states to support legislation that regulates bail enforcers and protects the rights of bail bondsmen. The couple is endorsing a bill by Oklahoma City Republican Sen. Ralph Shortey that would require bail enforcement agents to be licensed in Oklahoma.

The bill in its current form would make it a felony punishable by up to three years in prison and a $10,000 fine to practice bounty hunting in Oklahoma without a license.
