TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Two Tulsa church employees who pleaded no contest to not promptly reporting the rape of a 13-year-old girl have completed their jail sentences.
Paul Howard Willemstein and Anna Alisa George were each sentenced to 30 days in jail after pleading no contest to failure to report child abuse. The Tulsa World reports (http://bit.ly/Xw9vGM ) both were released last week after serving 15 days.
Authorities say Willemstein and George were let out early because they did extra work in the jail, such as cleaning and other chores.
Their attorney says Willemstein and George are grateful to be out of jail and have returned to work at Victory Christian Center.
A former janitor, Chris Denman, pleaded guilty to several charges last year, including the rape of the 13-year-old girl on the church campus.
