  • Sixth-ranked Lady Savages upend Moore, Harrah

  • Tecumseh, the sixth-ranked team in Class 6A, out-slugged third-ranked Moore 15-12 Friday.

  • Tecumseh, the sixth-ranked team in Class 6A, out-slugged third-ranked Moore 15-12 Friday.
     
    Tecumseh rang up 19 hits while Moore finished with 16.
     
    Jessica Cummings spearheaded Tecumseh with a 4-of-4 outing that included a double, a solo home run, two runs scored and two runs batted in.
     
    Tristan Trice notched three singles while Caylie Patton finished with two doubles and two runs scored.
     
    Also registering two hits apiece for Tecumseh were Kelsie Carsten, Shyanna Sigman, Jordan Detherage and Logan Hays. Sigman and Carsten had a double apiece.
     
    Tecumseh then traveled to Harrah Friday and claimed a 15-4 (four-inning) decision over the hosts.
     
    Trice went 3-for-3 with six RBI, two home runs and three runs scored.
     
    Three other Lady Savages — Aspen Grimes, Patton and Sigman — had two hits apiece, including a home run.
     
    Hilary Babbit added a single and a double for the Lady Savages as they went to 22-9.
     
    Tecumseh will be involved in a three-way competition Monday at Tecumseh. Tecumseh’s JV will challenge Noble at 4 p.m., followed by Bethel and Noble at 5:15 p.m. and Bethel and Tecumseh at 6:30 p.m.
     
    Tecumseh will launch regional play Wednesday at Tecumseh.
